I believe she did 2 in cotton -- the brown one and a blue. Scroll down through July and you see the brown one. I loved how hers turned out and thought to do a monotone one myself, until I realized how much I needed to change colors in garter stitch to hold my interest!fiberfanatichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09371378024613822295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20387153.post-20639469091715103572007-06-05T12:23:00.000-07:002007-06-05T12:23:00.000-07:00There are lots of yarns that MIGHT work. If so, what was the actual yarn used.

Thanks.purple-powerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07020541712074673527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20387153.post-23815863036441246512007-06-05T11:49:00.000-07:002007-06-05T11:49:00.000-07:00Clea 100% cotton yarn would probably do, but you w...Clea 100% cotton yarn would probably do, but you would probably have to knit it with 2 strands instead of one. As far as I can tell, Bernat Baby Yarn is 100% acrylic, not cotton and I am specifically interested in cotton.purple-powerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07020541712074673527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20387153.post-70378096383988278282007-06-05T11:06:00.000-07:002007-06-05T11:06:00.000-07:00I had a friend fall in love with the mermaid, but ...I had a friend fall in love with the mermaid, but she is allergic to wool. She asked me to make one for her in bernat baby yarn. You are very limited to colour combinations, but if you like pastels, go for it, because it turned out perfect. So, I know that there are cotton and linen yarns out there that will do the trick. Make sure you look at suggested gauge on product first.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
