I know that a number of people have had problems meeting the guage. I'm wondering whether anyone wound up knitting ballerina with a larger guage than it was designed to be, so that they wound up with a longer and perhaps wider garment and how it looked.
Also, I am still wondering whether anyone has weighed the 2 colors in the kit.

I would worry about it being gigantic, especially at the widest point on the raglan sleeves. You could make some adjustments by removing two wedges from the back but you'd have to change the ratio of short rows for the raglan sleeves. For me that would be too challenging an effort.
Ballerina is a wide-cut swing coat to start with,even when knitted with #2 needles (which I did).
