Studio sweater pattern

Hi!

I'm so excited. I ordered my first HF sweater kit, Studio-short in Lagoon and Sea Blue. Has anyone made this sweater before? I'm just curious as how the diagonal stripes are done. I'm thinking somehow it's knit diagonally.

Once I get it and get started, I'll post some pictures.

Oh I love this sweater too! especially in the orange colorway. I have not seen the instructions, but I think you'd start with the solid colored (blue in your case) triangle which would be formed by increases in the center, then the stripes form automatically with increases in the center and decreases at the edges, so, knit side to side. I could be totally wrong, but that's how I would do it LOL....
Be sure to let us see how it works once you start. If I ever get to start my Lastrada and finish it I will certainly do this one too.

Thank you! Can't wait for the package to arrive. I'll probably read and re-read the directions for days before I get the nerve to get started!

I am just finishing Studio in medium. Everything worked fine per the instructions except "5" was not printed on the schematic for the front. Should be in the same place as the back only on the opposite side. The most difficult part for me was picking up stitches on the sleeves and neckline because the edges are not worked the same way. Have not seamed the sides yet. Will use the horizontal to vertical garter seaming as described in Sally Melville's "The Knit Stitch" book since I've only seamed horizontally or ridge-to-ridge.
