I have finished the body of my mermaid and am now working on the first sleeve. Unfortunately too much knitting during easter break caused a tennis elbow. Sigh.
For the body (size S) I used a provisional cast-on and an I-cord bind of. It worked oút just perfect! I have reduced the lenght of the sleeve with 10 stitches as everybody seem to agree on them being too long.
I just wish I could knit more than 2 rows a day, this way it will take me a year to make the sleeves.

Gosh that is gorgeous, I haven't even cast on yet :(, soon as it was a Christmas present from DH, beautiful job
Absolutely beautiful! I have my kit just sitting and waiting for me to start...did you have a spreadsheet to work from? I am going to make the small as well, but I see Amy's sheets are only for a Medium....any advice will be welcomed!!!

I have tried to transfer Amy's spreadsheet into size small, but only the "knit" column not the columns with the ridge number etc.
I just started the edging of the large. Is that the right size for a 38 bust? Also looking for the spreadsheet for the large??? Help.
