Lascala scarf

Hi! I'm busy working away on the LaScala scarf but have figured out I most likely won't be wearing it this winter! My, my, there are a lot of stitches to cast on and that is only for the first half of the scarf. The colors are really beautiful. It is color scheme #3. I'm almost at the point where I get to switch to the warm colors. Next up is tomatoe and fushia. Here's a picture of what's done so far...

Very Beautiful! I love it! How many stitches did you cast on?

Hi!
You cast on 241 stitches and knit it lenghtwise. Then you do it all over again for the other side! It's kind of fun because as you start to get bored, you get to change colors! Hope I have the perseverance to start the second half immediately after I finish the first or I'm afraid it will never get done! If you like bright colors, you enjoy this color scheme!

the looong lenghtwise knit must be so annoying! meanwhile, the colours and pattern look great. even without the brights.

Thanks! I've started the tomato and fushia band. Once it's done, only 2 more bands of colors to go! I think I might not have enough of the fushia to complete the other side so I'll definitely have to get going on it once this side is done (so I can let Kangaroo know if I am short some yarn). I sure hope not I'm wrong and there is enough!
