Yet another new member
Ordered my Mermaid #10 kit 2 nights ago in a fit of weakness and it has already been shipped. I'm a little intimidated. Big sweater, little needles but am so pleased there's a KAL to keep me inspired!
Isn't it exciting? After I ordered my kit, I kept looking at this site and the Hanne site, anxiously awaiting its arrival. It came very quickly and I just started. The only suggestion I can give you is to make sure you have your needles, because I had a difficult time finding the sizes I needed at my LYS. They didn't have circulars with long enough cords, so I had to send my husband to purchase some Addis at a store near his office. It is really frustrating not being able to start, because you don't have the needles. Sometimes, the smaller sizes are more difficult to find in my area. Not sure if you will have the same problem.
After reading some of the posts I'm going to wait and swatch a little before I buy anything! Fortunately, I'm on Spring Break next week. REALLY hoping it comes early in the week!
