I finished putting Mermaid (kit 5) together last night. It's been washed, blocked and is now drying. It fit so well that even the sleeves were perfect preblocked. I hope the jacket doesn't "grow" now that I have "soaked" & blocked it.
The jacket was started on July 19th and finished September 25th. Not too bad...only took a few weeks break to work on some special socks and I did make my self imposed deadline of October 1st!
I know another jacket will be started soon....just have to pick out the colors which has proven more difficult than I thought it would be.

it is beautiful. Did you use the washer or did you wash it by hand? Did you use any product when you washed it-detergent? You did a great job.
That is really beautiful!
Thanks for your kind comments. I use "soak" and handwash all of my handknits. I was really afraid that my front loader would felt the darn thing so I didn't go there. The soak does a terrific job- there was some color bleed, but it came out well and still fits! Now the weather needs to get cool.
Your knitting is beautiful. Why don't you try it on and model it for us (both front and back)? I'm sure lots of people would love to see how it looks on a person rather than a hanger.
